Acquire have developed a simple, zero cost, procurement review for
PACE Members who feel that it would be beneficial to undertake a
complete analysis of their procurement practices.
It has been apparent that buying patterns that evolve piecemeal in
response to the changing needs of a College often result in
inefficiencies and waste. By analysing existing arrangements Acquire
identify areas of concern, and then make recommendations to improve
price, quality and service.
Every Procurement Review completed on behalf of members has
resulted in considerable savings for Colleges. We research and profile
your procurement practices and then work with you to maximise cost
savings for you. A brief description of the five stage services is as
follows:
- Stage One - week one
We meet and discuss the review. We take away and analyse all your
current procurement data in agreed areas.
- Stage Two - week two
We begin compiling a current Suppliers Directory using your
appropriate 'House Style' identity. Ultimately the Directory and
system become yours.
- Stage Three - week three
We present the first stage findings along with an Action Plan, which
you prioritise and which lists all the actions you want us to
undertake on your behalf.
- Stage Four - three month
We put forward researched alternatives to any existing arrangements
to save you money, processing time and where possible, to improve
the quality of goods purchased.
- Stage Five - month six plus
We constantly review progress and update the Action Plan. We
determine further opportunities where you can benefit from income
generation and further cost savings in additional areas.
